One day I noticed something on the side of our plant pot in the bathroom. It looked like some sort of growth. I think it had been there a few days.

On closer inspection it turned out it was moving!

In fact, it was hundreds of tiny little spiders!

In the end I relocated them to the garden, as I wasn't sure how big they might end up. They haven't been back since.

Excellent! I love spiders.
Lilly, however, does not.
I would have paid a great deal of money for Lilly to have been present in the room when that was discovered, just to see her reaction.
The other day, Lilly was driving the car when a tiny wee spider crawled onto the windscreen on the inside.
"Alan! Alan! Quick! Get it away!"
"Lilly it is about a millionth the size of you, what can it possibly do?"
"Get it away! Get it away!"
Completely irrational.
I assume there must be a huge mummy spider still kicking about the house then? Probably a little pissed off that you have thrown its children out in the cold winter air to die......bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!
Wouldn't it have been simpler to just douse it in petrol and torch it?
Well, it's just that if anything went wrong, I don't think the insurance would cover it...
You know I was driving past the end of your road this evening and I noticed a procession of yellow spiders - some had those little red and white spotted hanky things over their shoulders, containing flies for the journey one imagines. Anyway they looked to be heading in the direction of Western Road...
Big LOL @ Alan :-D
That description sums me up very accurately! It's almost scary!
Hey, I must admit that those wee baby spiders almost look kind of cute -- but that's ONLY because I am viewing a photo of them and not actually facing them in reality!
