So Easter came and went. We bought easter eggs 'for Finlay' and ate them all ourselves! Lovely weather, but I got called by work on Sunday and had to spend the whole afternoon sitting in the spare bedroom with the laptop, which was disappointing. Work in general has been madly busy ever since I was made a manager back in February. It's a steep learning curve, and there's lots to do. I alternate on a daily basis between enjoying the challenge and stressing about the workload. Finlay's had chicken-pox for the last week, just after he'd got over the eye-infection. Good to get it out of the way I guess. He's a spotty little thing, but he's remained very upbeat about the situation, even though his poor little head must be really itchy. I'm very proud of him. Tab's crazy sister came to visit from Cornwall for a few days, and we ventured out to the Red Lion Beer Festival for some real ales. That put me out of action for a couple of days and brought on some sort of throat infection. I tell you - this is a house of sickness! Hope all my readers are well. I know I don't update this as often as I should - busy with work and parenting you see... Got some holiday booked for the end of the month though, so it's not all bad.

Adam, sorry to hear you guys are so ill! Hope things have taken a turn for the better since you submitted your post. I know what it's like being busy with work and just busy in general (and I am not even a parent!) -- I've not got enough time either to update my blog regularly, let alone read and comment on my friends' blogs!
You're now a manager (oohh...did you perhaps already write a post about this, which I may have missed?)?! Wow! Belated congratulations on the promotion, well done! I guess that a job as manager is always more stressful and with tons of responsibilities too...and more of a challenge; the latter being a good thing in most cases (I think).
Hope you'll have good time when you're off later on this month; you deserve it, mate :-)
Yeah, beer's very bad for you. Never touch the filthy poison myself! :o)
Gavin, I think you'd better stick to cycling -- you're much better at that than you are at lying ;-P
