My Little Boy Is One

Finlay's first birthday. We went to Monkey World with his cousin, who turned nine yesterday. Lots of car travel, but I think he enjoyed watching the chimps. Tomorrow we have cards, presents and cake!

It's been an eye opener, this fatherhood thing, but I wouldn't change it for the world. Happy birthday son!

RIP Jim Cronin

Very sad to hear about the passing of Jim Cronin, founder of Monkey World, one of our favorite places to visit. A big hearted guy, who did much to help rehabilitate mistreated animals and raise awareness about endangered species. He's up there with the chimps now.
